An event driven by the creativity and curiosity of students in SUNY Oswego’s College of Communication, Media, and the Arts, the Dr. Lewis B. O’Donnell Media Summit welcomes leading media professionals to campus for a day-long interactive experience that explores timely trends, critical issues and career paths in journalism, sports, television, film, radio, digital media and beyond!
2026 will mark the 22nd Dr. Lewis B. O’Donnell Media Summit. The event’s longevity wouldn’t be possible without the continued support of our valued alumni, especially Media Summit founder, Lou Borrelli ’77, and co-sponsor, Al Roker ’76. For two decades, transformative voices in media have made their way to our campus in Upstate New York to share their insights, experiences and advice with an audience eager to absorb it all — our students.
The Summit will be held in the Hewitt Hall Ballroom on Thursday, October 22, starting at 3 PM (doors will open at 2:30 PM).
